Wolf eels have a very powerful jaw that can be demonstrated by observing them bite down on the back of a box crab and crushing it like it were a sponge. Picture yourself scuba diving with wolf eels at malei Island. These wonderful creatures have an appearance of a fish, the eyes of a snake, the grace of a gold fish but the jaw of a wolf, thus the named wolf eel.
